Wigdor LLP currently represents Fox5 reporter, Lidija Curanaj, in a lawsuit against parent company Twenty First Century Fox. In a complaint filed on December 13, 2016, the firm alleges that the misogynistic environment at the Fox affiliate saw Ms. Curanaj denied a full time position, told that she was “not attractive enough” and discriminated against because of her perceived nationality as Albanian. The complaint further alleges that Ms. Curanaj was told in an interview with Roger Ailes, that female presenters should “look good from head to toe.” Mr Ailes was removed from his position as chairman of Fox News Channel in July, following allegations of sexual harassment.
