On Thursday, June 28, 2018, Wigdor LLP obtained an arbitration award dismissing breach of contract and unjust enrichment claims brought against a former senior-level employee. At the arbitration, the employer claimed that the former employee was terminated for cause, and therefore had to repay approximately $2.5 million in incentive compensation plus interest, attorneys’ fees and costs. After a four-day hearing, the arbitration panel found in favor of the former employee, and dismissed the employer’s claims in their entirety.
