Wigdor LLP represents Amy Green, an employee at data management firm Exusia, Inc., in connection with her claims of sexual harassment and retaliation against Exusia Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer, Trevor Silver.
As alleged in the complaint, Ms. Green, a qualified attorney, accepted a position working directly alongside Trevor Silver in 2015. Despite claiming that they put their employees at the “heart” of the business, as alleged in the complaint, Ms. Green was subjected to ongoing and persistent sexual harassment from Trevor Silver when she joined the company. The complaint, filed in New York State Supreme Court, alleges that during work trips Silver routinely tried to persuade Ms. Green to accompany him to his hotel room alone, as well as making persistent lewd comments about Ms. Green’s body, and forcing her to listen to detailed stories of his sexual relations with other “hot women”.
The complaint further alleges that within hours of receiving notice that Ms. Green had retained counsel in relation to the sexual harassment, Silver significantly reduced Ms. Green’s administrative privileges, hindering her ability to perform her job effectively. The complaint contends that this was a blatant act of retaliation that sought to punish Ms. Green for seeking to address the enduring sexual harassment she faced at the Company.
