Wigdor Welcomes Two New Partners and Of Counsel to the Firm

We are excited to welcome Marjorie Mesidor and Meredith Firetog who have joined the Firm as Partners, and Monica Hincken who joined the Firm as Of Counsel. “We are thrilled to welcome these talented attorneys to our Firm,” said Douglas Wigdor.  “They each reflect a strong commitment to the work that we do and will zealously fight for our clients.”

Wigdor Partner, Marjorie Mesidor

Marjorie is recognized for her outstanding service to clients who have been subjected to sexual harassment or discrimination of any kind.  She regularly prosecutes employment action against Fortune 500 companies and her most recent verdict of $2.31 million dollars in EDNY was given a Top 50 Verdict in New York.  She has been awarded the Most Influential Woman in Employment Discrimination Law, National Trial Lawyers’ Top 100 Attorneys Civil- Plaintiff, National Black Lawyers’ Top 100 Black Lawyers, and National Women Trial Lawyers- Top 25 to name a few.  Prior to joining Wigdor, she was a Managing Partner at Phillips & Associates.

Wigdor Partner, Meredith Firetog

Meredith is a passionate victim and employee rights advocate.  Previously she was a Partner at Sanford Heisler Sharp where she focused on discrimination and wage and hour cases, in both individuals and class actions.  Meredith also completed a clerkship in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. 

Wigdor Of Counsel, Monica Hincken

Monica Hincken has been representing employees for almost a decade.  Just before joining Wigdor, Monica was part of a trial team at Valli Kane & Vagnini LLP that obtained a $25 million verdict in a gender discrimination case.  Monica has been recognized as a New York Metro Rising Star since 2018.
