Wigdor LLP represented Holly Wu in her sexual harassment and retaliation claims against her former employer, the infamous American coffee company – Starbucks. As alleged in the complaint, Ms. Wu had been promoted, received multiple raises and received positive performance evaluations; however, she was fired without notice, only three weeks after she complained in writing that she was being sexually harassed. Wigdor LLP partner David E. Gottlieb, who represented Ms. Wu in this matter, commented in a Daily News article; “Starbucks has thousands of employees in New York City, and should strive to be a model employer.”
